About Damien Brander
My interest in helping people overcome challenges is deeply personal.
At 18 years old, I was involved in a serious accident that left me in a coma. Doctors warned my family that recovery would be uncertain and that I could face significant long-term challenges. Against those expectations, I regained consciousness and began the long process of learning to walk, talk, and rebuild my life.
Although I recovered far beyond what many thought possible, I continued to experience challenges including memory difficulties, anxiety, and later, chronic pain. Those experiences gave me a firsthand understanding of how deeply physical and emotional challenges can affect every aspect of a person’s life.
Determined to build a meaningful future, I completed a degree in Occupational Health and Safety in Australia and spent more than a decade working in high-risk industries. During that time, I supported people through injury management, rehabilitation, workplace stress, and recovery, often helping individuals navigate significant life and health challenges.
Years later, while searching for ways to improve my own anxiety, focus, memory, and chronic pain, I discovered hypnotherapy. The positive impact it had on my life sparked a strong interest in the connection between the mind, body, and recovery.
That interest led me to complete a Diploma of Clinical Hypnotherapy in Australia and, following further professional development and clinical practice, achieve international certification through the International Hypnosis Association.
Today, I combine professional training with lived experience to help people experiencing chronic pain, anxiety, and stress. My goal is simple: to provide compassionate, professional support and help people regain confidence, improve wellbeing, and move forward with their lives.
